Mary Elizabeth Fisher, 85, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Life Line Hospital, Wintersville. She was born in Bergholz, Ohio on September 2, 1930 the daughter of the late Floyd Hudson and Ethel Mae Boyd Culp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Belinda Scalise, brother Wilbur Culp, sister Imogene Hellock and infant sister Donna Mae Culp. Mary retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital as an EEG Technician and also was owner/operator of Body Magic Tanning & Exercise of Wintersville. She attended Colonial Baptist Church and was a member of Dip ‘N Dive Square Dance Club. She is survived by her husband John W. Fisher whom she married on March 16, 1990, two daughters Kathi (John) Gates of Richmond, Ohio, Terri (Doug) Poulin of Marysville, Ohio, five grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as “Grandma Mary”, John Wayne Gates, Jessica (Josh) Bumgardner, Traci Ann (Travis) Piatt, Kara Elizabeth Emmons and Anthony Scalise, six great-grandchildren, sister Lois (Tom) Clark of Salineville, Ohio, and step-sister Mary Ann (Mark) Ambrose of Herndon, Virginia. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday from 4 until the time of memorial service at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Randy Sells officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Colonial Baptist Youth Group, 201 Gumps Lane, Wintersville, OH 43953.
