To the family of Mary Parks. We remember Mrs. Parks from our days at Wayne High School. She was a terrific teacher, and a very classy lady. We now live in Cleveland Tennessee, and were visiting Bill's Mom (Ruth Logsdon) in Ohio, when we heard the news. Mom read the obituary to us from the Steubenville Herals Star newspaper. May the Lord bring you peace in her passing. She will not be forgotten. Bill & Suzan (Rasky) Logsdon

It is with heavy hearts that we send our condolences. Losing a loved one is very hard, as we all know. But if we remember to focus on all of the good times we shared with your mother, it will ease the pain. Those who have left us walk among us. God Bless.

Hi I recall fondly Mary Parks at good ole Wayne High. She was my Phys Ed teacher and I remember her well. She was a good teacher. I also recall her being monitor of Study Hall on the fateful day that JFK was killed. I can still see her in the hall talking to another teacher. All I could tell was that she said "He's dead". And I had to wait till later to find out who she was talking about. My sympathies to the family but at least you will know that some of her gym students recall her with fondness. Dear Denny I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. I will always remember your mother as my gym teacher at Wayne. Thanks to your mother and her golf lessons during a part of our gym class I never learned how to golf and I'm glad that I didn't. You and your family are in my prayers. Patty

Denny, I'm sorry to hear of Mary's passing, but it is so great that she got to spend these last months with you. I know she was very happy there. I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Mary, especially from our days camping at Leesville Lake and the family gatherings, and I'll cherish them forever.
