As one of my "big sisters," Mary Beth and I did long phone calls reminiscing about our memories from childhood. I was always amazed at how she was able to recall so much detailed information, reminding me of things that I had completely forgotten. Over the six weeks prior to her passing, I was able to spend many hours with her...the first we had been together in years. It was truly special. She shared that she was ready to go, and that she had spent enough time in that body that was steadily bearing the weight of time. When I left her the evening of her death, she was smiling and comfortable and full of love. A few hours later I heard she had passed. My first thought was, "Thank you, God."Along with the sadness of loss comes the grace of a peaceful passing. I am truly happy for her.Live it up, dear sister. Peter
