Mary B. Richardson, 85, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Palliative Care in the company of her family. Mary was born May 26, 1920 in the former Republic of Czechoslovakia to Joseph and Helen Bodrog who immigrated to Mingo Junction in 1926. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William J. “Red” Richardson, and one granddaughter Kristen Robinson Johnson. Mary is survived by her son Jim (Linda) Richardson of Steubenville and daughter Marlene (Dr. David) Robinson of Bloomingdale, Ohio; three grandchildren Carrie Robinson, David Robinson and Tonia Hervey; and eight great grandchildren. Mary lived the American dream by immigrating to this country, finding the love of her life and raising a family. Mary always had a smile on her face and never met a person she wasn’t kind to. Mary enjoyed the company of many close friends and was a fine dancer in her youth. But most of all, Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Calling hours will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. David M. Rice officiating.
