Mary Ann Hindman, 80, of Union, KY died peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY after a long battle with a chronic illness. She was surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 24, 1943, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late William and Anna Zambotti Carnes. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother William Carnes of Weirton, WV.
Mary Ann graduated from Steubenville High School in the Class of 1961. She then went on and graduated from Bliss Business College in Columbus Ohio. She was a homemaker who loved dogs, the Statler Brothers, spending time with her family and hiking, skiing and biking in Colorado
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 59 years, William James Hindman of Union, KY, two daughters Carole (Greg) Coady of Chesterfield, MO and Jill Wilson (Bruce Kauffman) of Avon Lake, OH and one son William ‘Bill’ (Marybeth) Hindman of Burlington, KY; eight grandchildren, Jack and Max Coady, Megan (James) Mobley, Olivia and Brandon Wilson, William ‘Will’, Rachel and Christopher Hindman; two great-grandchildren Cillian and Marin Mobley; one brother, Edward Carnes of San Carlos, CA and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Foundation c/o Hospice Programs, 1 Medical Village Drive

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio 43953 on Friday at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
