Obituary For Mary A. "Sunny" Ardito Takach

Mary “Sunny” Ardito Takach, 90 of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Trinity West. She was born May 14, 1917 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Ludovico & Teresa Iagnemma Ardito. She was a retired matron for Mingo Public Schools and a 1935 graduate of Mingo High School. Mary was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church; C.W.C.; Mingo Senior Citizens; Democratic Club; Royal Neighbors of America; and 500 Card Club. Preceding Mary in death were her son-in-law Samuel D. Sauvain; three brothers Frank “Frenchie” Ardito, Raymond “Mars” Ardito & Gino Ardito; and one  sister Carmella DiCarolis; and one nephew Louis Giuliani.Mary is survived by her daughter JoAnn Sauvain of Mingo; three grandchildren Terrie E. Sauvain & Samuel D. Sauvain II both of Sagamore Hills, Ohio and Ryan N. Sauvain of Mingo; brother Rigoletto “Reggie” Ardito; niece Donna Ardito & nephew James Giuliani all of Mingo Junction; and great nephews and great nieces.Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Avenue, Mingo Junction on Wednesday 2-8 p.m.On Thursday, friends may call at St. Agnes Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral liturgy with mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Dunfee officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Vigil service 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.Memorials may be directed to St. Agnes Church.t

    Sunny was my Godmother and her brother Gino was my Godfather. They were such exceptional people, very loving and giving and always with a good word. Our family was very saddened to hear of her passing but she was so very loved we all know where she is. All of our love.......Shari, Robin, Debbie and JoJo and grandma Nina
