Martha June Goldberg, 66, of Toronto, Ohio died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Trinity West.  She was born March 18, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Charles and June Rose Barkey Young.  Martha was Lutheran by faith. She had been a nurse’s aide for Heritage Home Care, Toronto, OH since 1996.  Martha enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flower beds and going to country music concerts and a huge NASCAR fan.  She enjoyed the company of her pets “Charity”, “Spunky”, “Maxi” and “Snoopy”.  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her brother Melvin Young and granddaughter Emily DiThomas.  She is survived by her husband Henry Goldberg of Steubenville; two daughters Kristen (James) DiThomas of Columbus, OH and Kerry (Brian) Nemeth of Bergholz; granddaughters Jessica and Erica DiThomas; and two sisters Ruth (David) McCollough and Beverly Ray both of Pennsylvania.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m., with Pastor Terry Mohr officiating.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
