Martha J. Rush, 77, of Steubenville, OH died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Dixon Health Care Center. She was born July 27, 1929 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Edward and Isabelle Thompson Joseph. Martha is preceded in death by her husband Luther D. Rush. She was a former member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters Valerie (Charles) Chastain of Richmond, OH and Lorene Thompson of Weirton, WV; five grandchildren Terri (Jesse) Cook of Wintersville, OH, Leonard (Diane Decker) Chastain of Richmond, OH and Amanda, Andrew and Lucas Thompson all of Weirton, WV; two great grandchildren Peyton Cook of Wintersville, OH and Darci Yocum of Richmond, OH. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Sunday 7-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
