Martha Fristick Rast, 78, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Palliative Care. She was born in Steubenville on February 20, 1927 the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Anne Godochik Fristick. Martha was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Womans Club in Steubenville and Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. in Ruskin, Florida. She was the retired owner and operator of Martha’s Beauty Salon in Mingo Junction. Preceding Martha in death was her grandson Bryan Dean Noel. Martha is survived by her husband Robert E. “Bob” Rast; daughter Bobbie Fristick (Robert) Smith of Steubenville; three brothers Thomas (Margaret) Fristick of Memphis, TN, Vincent Fristick of Mingo and Leo (Norma Jean) Fristick of Tiltonsville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
