Marjorie VonBrockdorff, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Sera Manor, Weirton, WV. She was born April 23, 1930 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Max VonBrockdorff and Alice Langford Smith. She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church; Jefferson County & Ohio Retired Teachers Associations. Marjorie was a 1947 CCHS graduate and Ohio Dominican College, Columbus, Ohio. She was a retired schoolteacher from Steubenville City Schools. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her stepfather Clarence Smith. Marjorie is survived by her sister Elaine Orecchio and her children Mark A. Orecchio and Joi (Frank) Nicosia of Weirton. No Visitation. Friends are invited to attend a funeral liturgy with mass at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Thomas Nau officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Ohio Dominican University, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, OH 43219
