Obituary For Marjorie E. Decker Heilbock

Marjorie E. Decker Heilbock, 91, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on April 6, 2025. She was born on September 12th, 1933, in Stony Point, New York. Marjorie graduated from Haverstraw, New York High School in 1952 and served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956 in the Korean War.

She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Decker, sisters Olive Decker Hopper and Maude Decker Murdock and brother Robert Decker. Also, her husband Raymond C. Heilbock and son Jonathan R. Heilbock.

Survived by daughter Linda Heilbock Showers and son Christopher R. Heilbock, grandchildren Laura Showers, Benny Showers and Allyson Heilbock Lewis and her great-granddaughter Emma Marie Lewis.

She was an accomplished artist and seamstress and art instructor. She enjoyed her friends in the Red Hat Society as well as working at Harts Family Center, managing the jewelry department.

Many thanks to the wonderful people at the Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville, where she resided.

There will be no services at this time. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
