Marilyn Sue Kunkle 68 of Steubenville, OH died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She born in Steubenville on January 9, 1936 a daughter of the late Arthur T. and Emma Alvernia Daily Kunkle, Sr. She was a member of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Steubenville Women’s Club, Business and Professional Women’s Club, former past president, Retired County Employees Group, Y.W.C.A. and she was a graduate of Steubenville Business College. Marilyn was a former city tax director and was retired from the Steubenville City Income Tax Office after 31 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother. She is survived by her sister Shirley Barnett of Steubenville, 2 brothers Arthur T. “Bill” (Ruth) Kunkle, Jr. of Steubenville and Raymond (Nancy) Kunkle of California, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Friends may also call on Friday from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at 11:00a.m. at Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Steubenville with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Burial at Center Chapel Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
