Marilyn J. Young, 80, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Trinity West. She was born May 3, 1935 in Glenwillow, OH. Marilyn was a member of LaBelle View Church of Christ and Steubenville Women’s Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding Marilyn in death were her father Ralph Higgins; mother Marianna Scarpete Barnhouse and sister Gloria Martin. Surviving are her husband, whom she married June 9, 1956, Paul D. Young; three sons Paul Allan (Tammy) Young of Abilene, TX, Gregg (Deborah) Young of McHenry, IL and Scott K. (Robin) Young of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren Marysa Young, Jersey Young, Justin Young, Jimmy Edwards, Susan Farhan, Shannon Ives and Megan Flashing; twin great grandchildren Landry and Harper Ives and sister Nancy Barnhouse. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Friday 4 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Minister Tom Arehart officiating.
