Marie White, 97, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Laurels of Steubenville. She was born in Doddridge County, West Virginia on November 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Oris W. and Mabel Ashcraft Fleming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth A. White; two sisters Jewel Fleming & Bernice Adams and a brother Vaughn Fleming. Marie was a homemaker and Protestant by faith. She is survived by her daughters Sharon (Donald) Farmer of Follansbee, West Virginia, Sondra Hyde of Wintersville and Paulette Morrocco of Mingo Junction; six grandchildren Kent Farmer, Jeanmarie (Karen Foley) Byrge, Kevin (Marianna) Hyde, Kim (Bob) Ventre, Stephen Morrocco and Susan Vadas; five great-grandchildren Morgan Long, Jaden & Mac Hyde and Nicholas & Liam Foley; two sisters Jean Goshen & Ruth Chase both of Maryland and two brothers Loudin (JoAnn) Fleming of Wallace, WV and Larry (Florence) Fleming of Mt. Claire, WV. In accordance with Marie’s request, private funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville with her brother Pastor Larry Fleming officiating. Burial followed at Fort Steuben.
