Marie T. Gron, 96, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Sienna Skilled. She was born April 4, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Stanley & Sophie Swiderski Dudek. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville and St. Richard Catholic Church, Chicago. Preceding Marie in death were her husband Stanley S. Gron, Jr.; brother John (late Mary) Dudek and sister Emily (late Herbert) Herrmann.
Marie is survived by her son Stanley S. Gron III and his companion Paula Zorne of Wintersville; granddaughters Michelle (Kevin) Howard of Steubenville & Melea (Justin) Pratt of Wintersville; four great grandchildren Savannah, Owen, Noah & Gavin; great great grandchild Camdyn; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 1-3 p.m. (Reception for family & friends to immediately follow at Shorac Family Center). Vigil service 12:45 p.m. Sunday
Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the current and past staff at Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care, compassion and love for Marie over the past several years.

Stan,Michelle and Melea,I am very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed my time with Marie. She never failed to make me smile. I'm not going to be able to be at her visitation, am spending the weekend at my Mom's in Pa. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
