Marie A. Weatherhead, 72 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Life Line Hospital. She was born December 23, 1943 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late Joseph & Elizabeth Lovisa Slegr. Marie was a retired cook from The Greenery and Pike Inn. Surviving are two daughters Alana Peters of Columbus and Sandy Pasco of Wintersville; three grandchildren Taylor Peters, Justin Worrell & Mike Pasco. three sisters Norma (Jack) Black, Jo Elizabeth (Jack) Pearce & Linda (Mark) Hillis. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Sunday 1-4 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Entombment at Holly Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to Jefferson Co. Humane Society.
