Maria M. Davis, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2006 after a lengthy illness. She was born March 27, 1929 in Templecaring County, Wicklow, Ireland a daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah Nolan. “Peg” came to this country in 1959. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Andrew P. Davis. She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Davis (Delaney); grandchildren, Daniel M. and Margaret A. Davis all of Wintersville. Funeral liturgy with mass was held today (Friday) at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
