Maria Douglas Kessler 82 of Steubenville, OH died Friday, March 21, 2003 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Motherwell, Scotland on January 1, 1921 a daughter of the late William and Matilda McGowen McCrum. She was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, Steubenville. Preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Uebel and one brother Robert McCrum. Survived by her husband Leonard L. “Dutch” Kessler, daughters Mrs. Rocco (Helen) Duco and Mrs. Jack (Carol) Benedict, both of Steubenville, Mrs. Thomas (Sandra) Dellatorre of Longwood, FL, Mrs. James (Joni) Huffmyer of Covington, KY, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. P. Douglas George officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
