Margaret V. Shablack, 84, of Wintersville, OH died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Acuity Hospital, Steubenville. She was born in Bridgeport, OH on March 29, 1926 a daughter of the late Emmett and Margaret Harding McLoud, Sr. She was Methodist by faith and retired from Jefferson County Community Action Council as Nutrition Coordinator. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Shablack, Sr.; son John Shablack, Jr.; brothers Emmett, Jr., Walter and William McLoud; sisters Mary Grimes and Delores Davies. Margaret is survived by daughters Patty (James) Minto of Wintersville, Barbara (Rodney) Tolbert of Culpepper, VA, JoAnn (Ed) Conn of Wintersville and Kathy (Delmus) Byrd of Hopewell, VA; daughter-in-law Sita Shablack of Maryland; brothers James (Sandra) McLoud of Washingtonville, OH, Lawrence McLoud of Cocoa, FL and Robert (Patty) McLoud of Ocala, FL; sisters Helen Wilson of Wilton Manors, FL and Sandra (Vincent) West of Martins Ferry, OH; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m., where funeral services will be Saturday, 10a.m. with Pastor Dan Holt officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
