Margaret G. “Peggy” Thomas, 74, of Steubenville, Ohio passed into the arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Trinity West. She was born August 15, 1933 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Bucy Kain. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and graduate of Catholic Central. Preceding Margaret in death were three brothers Robert, Patrick & Harry Kain and two sisters Alice Walenciej & Darlene Phillips. Margaret was a positive and courageous person who overcame cancer, surgeries and diabetes, never complaining about the pain. Margaret will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, especially her church buddies.Surviving are her loving husband and best friend Tim A. Thomas; two daughters Rebecca (Patrick) Hill of Charlotte, NC and Lori (Michael) Taccino of Plano, TX; two grandchildren whom she loved very much Michael III and Marie Taccino; brother Jack Kain; and two sisters Ethel Arthurs & Kathleen Lewis.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Monday 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Richard J. Tuttle officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Vigil service 6 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Diabetes Association, P.O.
