Magdalene V. Furda, 89, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday at Gable Care Center, Hopedale Ohio. She was born in Jefferson County on April 11,1916 a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Spandlie. Preceding Magdalene in death were her husband Daniel Furda on February 8, 2000; sister Gazelle Paris and brother Gaza Spandlie She is survived by three sons David (Nancy) Furda of Weirton, Edward Furda of Steubenville, and Daniel (Kathy) Furda of Wintersville; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and sister Matilda Pacaraw of Erie Pennsylvania. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Friday 10 a.m. with Rev. John Kopcha officiating. Burial at St. Andrew Orthodox Cemetery.
