Margaret Nemeth, 98, of Wintersville passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Carriage Inn, Steubenville. She was born in Kony, Hungary on February 2, 1921 a daughter of the late Gyula and Rozalia Mate Eklics. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John A. Nemeth, Sr. on June 16, 1997; infant son Julius; brother Julius Eklics; sister Ilona Eklics; daughter-in-law Edna Nemeth and granddaughter Kristina Harding. Margaret is survived by her sons John A. (Heidi) Nemeth, Jr. of New Middleton, OH, George J. (Judy) Nemeth of Wintersville and Frank “Tom” Nemeth of Wheeling, WV; her daughter Margie (John) Vargo of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren Sherri (Rick) Greene, Bill Nemeth and Michelle (J.R.) Walker; great grandchildren Sierrah, Selena, Joey, Brayden, Bryce, Trevor and Kaylee.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Monday from 4-7p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 10a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil service Monday 6:45p.m.
