Dear Shirley, Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful memories. As someone from Blessed Sacrament remarked 'it is the end of an era'. Those ladies were awesome. My daughter Gina took my Mom and your Aunt Marty shopping a couple of years ago and had a blast! Again, thanks for thinking of us.

I just found out about Dixie today and wanted to send my condolences. I always remember what great friends my mother Jane and Dixie were and later Dixie and my Aunt Marty. Those ladies sure knew how to have fun. I remember the card parties in the living room, making Easter candy at the church, the Mother/Daughter banquets and gathering at each others houses for the holidays. No matter what your age.. losing your mother is hard... your head may know it's for the best but your heart still grieves. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
