M. Raymond Chuich, 66, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Monday, August 15, 2005 at Carroll Healthcare Center due to complications of multiple sclerosis. He was born in Wintersville, Ohio on March 17, 1939, a son of the late Melvin and Virginia Svoboda Chuich. Raymond was a stand-out football player and 1958 graduate of Wintersville High School; attended Campbell College and Fork Union Military Academy. He was retired from Timet in Toronto, Ohio and was a licensed administrator of nursing homes in Houston and Austin, Texas. Preceding Raymond in death were his wife Elsie; son Todd and sister JoAnn Greenwald. He was Serbian Orthodox by faith. Raymond is survived by three daughters Lisa of Mexico City, Mexico, Judith Goodwin and Jennifer Drake of Italy, Texas; one sister Joyce (late Samuel D.) Abdalla and brother David (Elaine) Chuich of Bloomingdale. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Milan Pajic officiating.
