Lura Maude Minney, 86, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Life Line Hospital. She was born June 16, 1926 in Glenville, WV a daughter of the late Goff & Lura Holbert Rader. Lura was a graduate of Glenville High School & Glenville State College and received her Masters from W.V.U. She was a schoolteacher having taught locally at Harrison Hills City Schools from 1970-1989. Lura was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church, U.M. Women, Hope Circle, Wintersville Womans Club and Ohio Teachers. Preceding Lura in death were her parents and sister Zelma. Lura is survived by her husband Ronzel D. Minney; sons R. Brent (Marilyn) Minney of Tallmadge, Ohio and Stephen C. (Christine) Minney of Montpelior, Ohio; and brother William Allen Rader of Elyria, Ohio. Friends may call at Dunlope- Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben.
