Obituary For Lucille I. "Lou" Shultz

Lucille I. “Lou” Shultz, 87, of Toronto, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Valley Hospice Care Center North. She was born February 17, 1924 in Cadiz, Ohio a daughter of the late Eugene and Leota Clark. Lucille retired as a housemother for Ohio Valley School of Nursing after 25 years of service. She loved working with the students there and from Franciscan University who knew her as Sgt. Shultz. Lucille was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Preceding Lucille in death were her 1st husband James M. White, Sr.; 2nd husband in 1969 Elbert H. Shultz; stepson Garry L. Shultz on September 14, 2009 and special life friends Deloris White, Kenneth E. Nason, Jr. and Steve Toker. Surviving are four sons James M. (Charlotte) White, Jr. of Steubenville, OH, John K. (Jerri) White of Wellsburg, WV, Arthur D. (Diana) Shultz of Toronto, OH and Elbert A. (Kathy) Shultz of Toronto, OH; step son Larry F. (Mary Ellen) Shultz of Belleville, IL; step daughter Velma (Dom) Cilli of Mingo Junction, OH; daughter-in-law Cathy Shultz of Bergholz, OH; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Thursday 6 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Friday 10 a.m. with Pastor Tommy Mills officiating. Burial at Center Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Carriage Inn Activity Department or Valley Hospice.
