Lucille Dixon Biggio, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was born in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on November 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Elmer H. and Victoria Carlson Dixon. Lucille was a 1948 Mount Lebanon High School graduate and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
As an active member of the Steubenville community, she was a founding member of the Holly Twig at Ohio Valley Hospital, a life member of The Woman's Club of Steubenville, a De-He-Wa-Mis #479 Questers member, and a Cub Scout Den Mother. Lucille was an avid sports fan cheering both professional and collegiate sports teams and the teams of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was one of the first to arrive at games throughout the years with her loving husband of 61 years, Frank. She also enjoyed golfing at the Steubenville Country Club and was a dedicated bridge player. She valued her close friendships and her family. Lucille always found ways to add beauty to the world through a love of flowers, fashion, and gift-giving.
Her loved ones will miss her immensely. Preceding Lucille in death were her husband, Frank C. Biggio; son Brian C. Biggio and siblings, Joe Dixon and Louise Hawthorne. Lucille is survived by three children Bob Biggio, Bruce Biggio, and Becca Biggio; daughter-in-law Beverly Biggio; nine grandchildren, Chad (Stephanie) Biggio, Cristen (Chris) Tarquinio, Lindsay (Steve) Speca, Joe Biggio, Ava and Adele Gulino, Spencer, Lucas, and Rachel Biggio; and seven great-grandchildren Zachary, Carmine, Bianca, Olivia, Sloane, Ellie and Jack. The family is grateful for the wonderful care she received at Carriage House and Carriage Inn.

Lucille was a very good friend to my mother, Mary Bilchak. Lucille always smiled, had a friendly word and hearty laugh! I remember as a small child being packed into our car and traveling to her house to play while mom and Lucille drank coffee and talked. I think that this was the original mom's plal group. Lucille was a wonderful lifelong friend, mother and wife. Thinking of all at this time.
