Obituary For Lucian L. "Buster" Zook

Lucian Lepp “Buster” Zook, 82, of Bloomingdale, Ohio peacefully passed away on August 25, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Buster was born July 20, 1941 in Bloomingdale, Ohio the first son of the late Daniel David & Marian Lazear Zook.

Buster proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member and leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After 26 ½ years of service, Buster retired from road maintenance at Salem Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.

Buster is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Jeanette Eshbaugh Zook; son Daniel (Theresa) Zook; daughter Lynnette (Shawn) White; six grandchildren Joshua (Jayanne) Zook, Daniel Zook, Nichole Whitmore, Meagan (Mark) Winkleman, Robert (Ashley) Zook & Kendra Whitmore and seven great-grandchildren.

At the convenience of the family, all arrangements are private. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.

    I am sorry to hear of Brother Zook's passing. Please know that I will always remember him. He was great fun to be with and was a fine man. He was one of a kind!

    Jeanette and family, I am so sorry to hear about Buster. I remember when I lived on the road you guys did, how he would stop and say Hi . He was more like a brother than a cousin to me. Cause we both had the white hair. . I love you both so much and am praying for Gods Comfort and strength for all. Love much Jane
