Lu C. Grimm, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Centerville Village, Carrollton, Ohio. She was born on June 10, 1929 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Wilmer R. & Junia Tarr George. Lu was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church; Hope Circle and the Gadabouts. She was the sales manager for the former Steubenville Credit Bureau. Preceding Lu in death were her husband Wayne S. Grimm and brother Rev. D. Scott (late Clara Mae) George.
Lu is survived by her son David (Diane) Cusick; daughter Joyce (Bob) Ellis; granddaughters Melissa (Bill) Kovalchik & Natalie (Robbie) Frey; five great grandchildren Billy, Lorna, Kailyn, Korey & Kyle; brother Dr. L. Mark (late Gaynalee) George; and sister Abbie (Pete) Gue.
Private services. Entombment at Fort Steuben.
Donations may be directed to Wintersville U.M. Church in Lu’s memory.

dear david and joyce and families, i was so very sad to read this as i saw alot of lou back in the day, and i will always cherish all the memories we all shared living in pottery, and how great of friends our parents were, my dad and gary have passed and mom is 93 and is not well at all but i am taking care of her and my husband, they both have dementia and it is quite hard but doing my best. anyhow just wanted to tell you that i do send all my love and more, we sure did have great parents and they sure did enjoy life, have a few pictures i have found going through moms stuff and your mom and dad are in them some day will try to find them and send them to david so you guys can have them. mom and lou were very close friends and i did tell her and she did cry she remembers i think. so i will keep you both in my prayers and your family will always be a part of my past. loove to you all in loving friendship sandie leas richey
