Mr. Vukelic, I am so so so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I only got to meet you twice at Villa Royale (SUE THEM) but I wanted you to know that she was my FAVORITE, FAVORITE resident. I would sit for hours with her talking to her and she always made me laugh. I walked out of that place and quit after hearing what happened to my favorite person. Mark, if you need ANYTHING at all in court, etc. please do NOT hesitate to contact me. I only knew your mother for a short while but she grew on me quickly and I fell in love with her instantly. She was a firecracker and will be deeply missed. I loved her like she was my own grandmother...I did her makeup and fixed her hair and laughed with her each day I worked. She has changed my life and I know she changed the lives of others. Again, if you need me for anything, email me and I can send my phone number. I want to see that place go down. All my love, Dana Scott

Dear Donna and Mark, This is your second cousin Denise the daughter of your first cousin Carol Gerbo. I was told about Aunt Lous passing by my mother and I wanted you both to know how very sorry I am for your loss. I have very fond memories of Aunt Lou and Aunt Zora making homemade pasta for me when I was just a little girl in Weirton. Growing up in California I missed a lot of Serbian Christmas but the ones I did get to attend I will cherish forever. Aunt Lou had such a giving heart that when my grandmother Helen Gerbo-Mechling died she had a wonderful dinner at her house for my family that I will never forget. Aunt Lou and Uncle Bakeys memory will remain with me fondly always. May God Bless you both and bring you through. With my deepest Sympathy, Cousin Denise Brennan

Dear Mark, Michelle, Donna and Danielle, Aunt Louise is at peace and united with Uncle Bakey. The last visit I had at the nursing home with Aunt Louise she told me that she was ready to be with her husband. I have memories that are beautiful when they both lived on Parkdale Rd., and I felt blessed to take them in my car to the grocery stores, doctors appts.,eye appts.,in Steubenville or Weirton, W.Va. Aunt Louise had me drive to the Weirton Cemetery and she told me how much she missed her sister, Zora. Her great love for Mark and Michelle was always expressed. As for Donna, she was always concerned for her well being and for Danielle her education was important to her. I believe that nobody dies so long as they are remembered. I will always remember Aunt Louise and Uncle Bakey for their love for all of us. With Deepest Sympathy Love, Janet, Dan and Linda

Mark and Donna: I was really saddened to read about your mom's passing in Wednesday's Herald Star. Please know that both of you are in my prayers. I cannot help but think back on all the good times we shared in the neighborhood. Other than my parents, your mom probably had as much influence on me as anyone, and I think about those times a lot. She was truly one of the two best friends my mom ever had, and they meant so much to each other. Hopefully they can now renew that friendship and keep an eye on all of us. Living in Cincinnati is OK, but I truly miss the good times we shared in the Ville. Your mom was a part of so many of those times. Because of the distance and the weather, Dona and I will be unable to make it "home" on Thursday for visitation. Please know that we'll be thinking about you and you'll be in our prayers during this diffcult time. Take care of yourselves and each other. Gary and Dona Ensell

Dear Mark, Michelle and Family, I was so saddened to learn the news this morning when my sister Janet called to tell my of your mom's passing. Mark, Michelle and Donna you are in my prayers and have my deepest sympathy. Mark, it was wonderful to speak with you this morning. Please know that my heart is with you and your family during this difficult time. It is never easy to say good bye to a loved one but know that she is with all of our family members now that have preceded her. She is smiling down on you and Michelle for the love and care that you all gave to her. I know that you were a wonderful son. She told me that her children were just so wonderful to her. I remember when she came to my home in Findlay, Ohio in May 1974 when Tara was born and she had baked for us pineapple and cherry tarts for Tara's baptism. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She was a very sweet aunt. She knew how to make us laugh. Mark she will be missed by all of those that knew and loved her. We are very sorry for your loss. I know that you and Michelle took such good care of her when she visited your home. I'm so happy that I was able to be with you, Michelle and your mom when I came home for a visit and we had all enjoyed a lovely dinner that Michelle prepared for all of us and watched the family movies together. I know your mom enjoyed seeing those old family movies with all of us too. I was so happy that your mom was able to be there with us. It was a wonderful day and I will never forget your wonderful hospitality. Mark you know that she is in a better place where there is no more pain and suffering. God Bless You, Michelle, and your sister Donna and her precious and beautiful Granddaughter. With my deepest sympaty for your loss. I regret that we will not be able to travel to be with all of you at this time due to the terrible weather conditions. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you an
