Louis Katz, 97, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1924 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Samuel and Bessie Dolnick Katz. He was the retired owner of Mar-Kay Grocery and Baskin Robbins. Louis was a member of the former Temple Beth Israel and served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Preceding Louis in death were his parents; siblings Maurice Katz, Sol Katz and Betty Cohen.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife Jocelyn Daniels Katz; loving son Brian (Tammy) Katz; loving daughter Lori (Jeff) Epstein and cherished grandchildren Michael, Josh and Jamie.
Graveside services at Union Cemetery (Beth El section) on Sunday at 1 p.m. with Rabbi Howie Stein officiating.
Donations in Louis' memory may be directed to American Cancer Society, Hadassah or a charity of the donor's choice. No flowers please.
