Uncle Jim was more than an uncle, he was my friend! I could always count on him and Nina to keep my secrets for me, and not to tell me what I should or shouldn't do. I will miss sitting in the kitchen and chatting about OHIO STATE FOOTBALL! I LOVE YOU UNCLE JIMMY AND WILL MISS YOU DEARLY! I am sorry that we can not be there with you Aunt Nina. I will be praying for you and for Uncle Jim all day Friday! We Love You, Nancy and Jason

We read of your loss in the local newspaper. We wanted to offer hope and encouragement, which we ourselves have found helpful in the death of close family members. Please be comforted to know that others are praying for you to have the strength to cope with your trial. May you find hope in the promised resurrection, Your dead ones will live. They will rise up. (Isaiah 26:19) Jesus Christ himself said: Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.-John 5:28, 29. Confidence in the resurrection will help to ease your sorrow. As the Bible says, you will not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope. (1 Thessalonians 4:13) Rather, you will draw close to God in prayer, and the Bible promises he himself will sustain you.-Psalm 55:22. Please look up these scriptures in your copy of the Bible. Sincerely, The Davis Family

It's hard to believe that in just 5 short years, Jim has become such an important part of our family. Jim and Nina were there at the beginning of our " new family", and grew with us every step of the way. Jim was more than a neighbor- he was a friend and " our adopted Dad" as we always called him. We loved him very much, and noone loved him more than our little Ashton. That was his " Jimmy" , and boy did he have Jim wrapped around his little finger. Jim became a part of not only our family, but our hearts. We will always love and miss him, and will always have such wonderful memories of him. He helped to create and was a part of our " family memories", and he will always be there. jim, we want you to know,we wil always be here to watch and care for Nina. No more worries, no more pain. You are with the angels now, where you belong- You were our angel in our life. We love you and will miss you everyday, and think of you with new day. All our love, Brian, Laurie, Ashton, Maura, and Aiden.
