Lorrain E. Poole, 87, of Irondale, Ohio died Thursday at Acuity Hospital. She was born November 24, 1921 in Pennsboro, WV a daughter of the late Sherl & Ava Simmons Sutton. She was a member of Wintersville Community Chapel; Sunset Club; Ladies Gormae Club and Moose Club 586 Womens Auxiliary. Preceding Lorrain in death were her husband Harmon W. “Buck” Poole in 1981; two sons Carol Jones & James “Jake” Poole; and four sisters.Surviving are her children Walter A. (Wanda) Poole of Largo, FL; Ruth (Larry) Cummings of Thompson, OH, Margaret (Al) Ksiazek of Steubenville, George (Peggy) Poole of Cadiz, Genta (Eugene) Battlochi of Irondale, John (Cheryl) Poole of Painesville, OH, Denzil (Joy) Jones of Powell, TN and Twila Carpenter of Bergholz; 40 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren & 8 great great.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday with Rev.
