Aunt Pal was as much an older sister to me as well as beloved aunt. As my mothers treasured younger sister, I spent countless hours with her as I was growing up. She looked after me, entertained me and served as a model of who I could aspire to be. She possessed a very special grace. I see her in my face and bearing and I count that a privilege of hereditary. Her marriage to Uncle Bill was very romantic to my young heart, their love and devotion to one another has been so complete. I spent many hours with Aunt Pal, Aunt Norma and my Mother. Being nestled in their presence created a blissful sense of belonging for me. When my mother died suddenly in my teens, I could hardly bear to see my two aunts, so great a pain did it create. Yet over the years Aunt Pal was able to break through some of the pain in my heart. She was a warm presence for me in many times of loss, a good friend with whom to laugh, a loving aunt who could cook up a storm and a mentor to gently carry on the legacy of my mother. Her loss to me is very deep. I extend our sincere sympathy to Uncle Bill, Lisa, Howard and their children as well as my Aunt Norma. Loretta will be missed so very much. It was always a joy to be in her presence. Our hearts will remain with you long after the services. As my sister said so well, she will be walking with giants as she joins our very loving family who have gone before her. She will be received as the dear daughter, treasured little sister, and very special Pal that she always was. Keith & Coral Johnston

I want to send condolences to my Uncle Bill and cousins Howie and Lisa. I wish so much that I could be up there with you all now, please know that I am in spirit. I am so sad to know my Aunt Pal is gone but know that she is at peace and no longer in pain. She will be walking with her beloved parents, brothers and sisters that have gone before her and be enveloped in their love. I always loved getting together with her and listening to stories about our families; I just wish that we had gotten to visit more often. I pray that God will give you all strength as you navigate through this week. I am sure you will have many loving friends and family members there to support you. I send along love from all of us here. Love, Crissy, Billy and Dylan
