Lois L. Nida 73 of Tiltonsville, OH formerly of Wintersville, OH and Lillian, Alabama died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling, WV. She was born in Lisbon, OH on October 5, 1930 a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Wallace George. She was a member of Wintersville United Church, past president of Wintersville Jr. Women’s Club, past president of Steubenville Ladies Shrine Club, former member of the Steubenville Art Association, and she was a former Cub Scout Leader in Wintersville. Lois was a retired registered nurse at the former Ohio Valley Hospital and Foresters Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and a grandson Joey Captor. She is survived by her husband Gene A. Nida, son Brad Nida of Foley, Alabama, daughter Karen (Joe) Captor of Tiltonsville, OH, sister-in-law Jackie (Richard) Acker of Akron, OH, grandsons Bradley Jr., Kevin and Adam Nida. Memorial services will be on Monday, April 19, 2004, 11a.m. at Wintersville United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Dunlope- Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.
