Lillian R. Wilson, 76, of Brilliant, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday, August 21, at Valley Hospice.
“Unwavering spirit” described her inner strength and refusal to be defined by her illness. Lillian was a homemaker, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing the machines in Weirton and going out to eat.
Lillian was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ed, who passed away in 2010; her mother Virginia Krzywdik; father Stephen Gombar; brothers George Gombar, Steve Gombar, Mike Gombar, Tom Krzywdik; and sister Anna Leasure.
Survived by her sons, Ed (Erin) Wilson of Steubenville & Mike Wilson of Brilliant; daughter Lori (Chris) Crow of Mingo Junction; two grandchildren Eddie (Alicia) Wilson & Rachel Farrister; great grandson Alaric Wilson; a special person who called her “momma”, Goldie Smith; loving best friend and sister MaryAnn (Dave) Mancano; two very special nieces Regina (John) Meatris and Licia (Bill) Dailey.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 5-7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Burial Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
