Sue, I was so sorry to see the passing of your mother. May you find peace and joy in the memories you have and take one day at a time. I think of our days on Bantam Ridge and always think of the laughter we shared.

The other night a dear friend fell asleep and never woke up... The other night a dear friend finally got to see two people she missed so much...The other night a dear friend took a part of our hearts with her when she left us all behind....The other night we started to remember memories of the most wonderful years of our life... the laughter, the absolute best fun, the trips, the visits, the food, the cards, the tomatoes and dilly beans, the gumbo and texas sheet cake, card games, holidays, newspapers and tv shows, slippers and undies and flag poles and stuffed animals. Vern, we wished we had not had to move and we wish we could have spent more time... But to Vern's family.. We all thank you for sharing, sharing your family, your mother, your nana, for when you were kind enough to share with us your mother and grandmother you gave to us one of the most precious gifts one could ever give. You gave us life, love, laughter and hope. You gave us a mother, a nana...and you gave us the most wonderful friend a family could have. We will never forget the laughter we shared...ever! If you need us call, we will always be there for you. God Bless you all!!! God has truly blessed us all with a new Angel.
