Levi E. “Lee” Evans, 60, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, December 25, 2006 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1946 in Steubenville, the son of the late William J. “Bus” and Esther V. Louer Evans. He retired as the lead computer operator for Bank One after 28 years of service. Lee was a member and elder of First Christian Church. He was a 1964 graduate of Steubenville High School where he was a drummer in the band. An avid Big Red football fan, Lee attended all home games. He also collected toy trains and served in the Army in Korea from 1968-69 in the Demilitarized Zone. Surviving are an aunt Mary Mabius; cousins Peg Canyocs, Amanda Muskgrove, Tom Morgan and Ed & Katie Morgan; and lifelong friend Charles G. Petrosky, Jr. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Doug Shoaf officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church.
