Leota W. “Lee” Brown, 98, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, March 7, 2005 at Manor Care South, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio on November 2, 1906 to the late John F. and Adella Fraley Weber. Lee attended Wintersville U.M. Church. Preceding Lee in death were her husband Marquard W. “Brownie” Brown on January 6, 1987; Alan W. Ranson whom she raised; and three sisters Charlotte Pauls, Bertha Chequer and Alta Coutz. Lee is survived by two sisters Mildred Humphrey and Florence Chesterfield. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 only; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating.
