Leota E. Cable “LEE” 91 of Wintersville died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at Forester Nursing Home, Wintersville, OH. She was born in Steubenville, OH on April 20, 1910 the daughter of the late Leon W. and Mary Kline Everson. She was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women’s Club and taught Sunday School. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and camp counselor of Y.W.C.A. Summer Camp, and was also a member of the Wintersville Women’s Club. She was a graduate of Ohio University. She was retired from Indian Creek School District, where she was a teacher, she also taught at Harding School, Steubenville and Richmond Schools. She was preceded in death by brothers: Wayne, Karl, and William Everson. She is survived by her husband: George Frederick “Pearce” Cable currently resides at Forester Nursing Home, Wintersville, son: Charles W. Cable, granddaughter: Kate Elizabeth Cable both of Knoxville, TN. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Tuesday from 7-9 P.M., where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.
