To the Anderson family, and especially my good friend Danny, I am so sorry for your loss. I spent quite a bit of time in your home during my teen years, what great memories for me. I remember walking into the kitchen and feeling like I was home. Lena always made me feel like I was special to her, almost like I was her son. I know I'm not the only one she made feel that way. Remember family, that because your mother gave her life to Jesus, you can have great hope of seeing her again. It's not goodbye, it's I'll see ya later. We love you and will be praying for you.

I was so sad to learn of Lena's death. She always made a point of greeting me at church with a big smile and warm hug when I was in town visiting for the weekend. She was one of the few left at Finley that I remember watching me grow up. She will be sorely missed. Bill, Steven, Danny (& families)-you are all in my prayers during this difficult time. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Lena was my friend Jeanette's mom. When Jeanette died we truly lost an angel. Over the years I've wondered how she was but saw her very seldom. When my father died when I was 15 she helped me get through that too. The Lord gives us special people in our lives, Lena was one of my special people. There must have been a lot of love going around the day Lena got to heaven and lots of joy too. God Bless to all of her family and someday you will be with all of them again.Sincerely, Linda (Hammer)

It may not be possible that I will be able to make a visitation so I want to say that your mother was a very sweet person. She was not only a person who I looked up to and respected as one of a generation before me with a family connection, but she always presented herself as a friend. I am deeply saddened at her loss and want to offer sincere condolances and to convey the same from my wife and sons.
