Lee O. Guskea, 84, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Trinity West. He was born June 15, 1928 in Toronto, Ohio a son of the late Andrew & Mildred Conant Guskea. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. as a general foreman in the strip steel and was a World War II Navy veteran. Lee was a member of Word of Life Assembly of God. Preceding Lee in death were his daughter Sandra Lee Guskea in 2004; brother Andrew Guskea and sister Mary Jo Schaefer. He is survived by his wife Patricia Kennedy Guskea; son Lee (Susan) Guskea; daughter Barbara Sommers; four grandsons Stephen Guskea, Shane (Julie) Sommers, Mike (Sophia) Guskea & Joe Guskea; sister Janice (Jerry) Boles; 5 great grandchildren and faithful canine companion Mia. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. with Dr. Gary Halberg officiating. Private burial at Fort Steuben.

We are so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. My husband Steve has very fond memoriers of Lee. We are so sorry we couldn't make it, we were on vacation. You are all in our hearts and prayers... Steve's dad Albert is very saddened by this as well & so sorry he could't make it either due to his health. Albert said he truely lost a great friend. May God send his peace to comfort all of you...
