Lawrence A. Fleming, 80, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Triumph Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He was born April 13, 1926 in Steubenville, a son of the late Harlan J. and Eula Windham Fleming. Larry was a former member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church; Unionport Masonic Lodge 333 F&AM; and Erie Shores Golf Club of Leamington, Ontario. He was a retired dispatcher for Conrail. Preceding Larry in death was his wife Dawn Lawler Fleming on December 15, 2004. Surviving are his daughters Patricia D. Anderson and her husband William of Fontana, CA, Deborah D. Fleming and her husband Clarke Owens of Perrysville, Ohio, Rebecca J. Fleming of Boise, Idaho and Barbara A. Gizzo and her husband David of Westerville, Ohio; two grandchildren Christopher M. (Rebecca) Anderson and Victoria L. Anderson; two great granddaughters; and sister Janet (John) Dopler. He will be lovingly remembered by his best friend Jeanne Manners of Leamington, Ontario and her family. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Shearer officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
