Laurence R. Porter, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio died Friday, October 16, 2015 at Valley Hospice. He was born September 29, 1936 in Steubenville a son of the late George & Elizabeth Feist Porter. He was a retired instrument repairman from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. Preceding Larry in death were his first wife Elizabeth A. Williams Porter in 1995 and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Jacobs Porter; sons Brian (Judy) Porter of Catawba, NC & Jeff (Debbie) Porter of Dublin, OH; three grandchildren Allison, Matthew & Taylor Porter; great granddaughter Olivia Orlando; stepson Robert Creps; stepdaughter Michele (Mark) Helland; and two stepgrandchildren Zachary & Nick Helland.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial at Fort Steuben
