  Matt and family, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember him as the fun, cool dad. We had some great times at your house swimming. It's so hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago- it seems like yesteday. I will be in town Friday for my Aunt Elsie funeral but will not be able to make it in beforehand.   Damn it is hard to believe that it has been a year already. I feel that I speak for not only Judy and my Brother David but for anybody that was blessed to have been touched by my Father that this year has been a roller coaster ride for all of us. At times it seems impossible to even make it through the day.....but we have survived and we are still here. There is a void in our hearts that cant and never will be replaced but even more so today than before, through this ordeal i have discovered that my Father with his chasmaric wit, carefree look of life, and ability to put others before himself made him the man he was. These things he did without knowing or even trying and that is what makes him a "real" and "true" person which I have been honored and blessed to call....Dad.
