Obituary For Larry G. Godich

Larry G. Godich, 87, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Valley Hospice North Care Center. Larry was born on June 12, 1938 in Monroeville, Pa a son of the late George & Rose Adipotti Godich. Larry was Serbian Orthodox by faith, a Mason # 45 and a member of the Steubenville Shrine Club. He was a retired rigger and safety inspector from Weirton Steel Co. He worked at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department on the Drug Task Force and was an Officer in the Wintersville Police Department. Larry proudly served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed golfing and having his annual 4th of July Pig Roast.

Larry was preceded in death by his brothers Robert P. Godich & Edward A. Godich. He is survived by his children Ava Booher, Sandy Bonitati, Randy Godich, Alan Godich & Tina (Wes) Darling, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren & one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Steubenville Shrine Club or the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

Per Larry’s wishes, there will be no visitation nor services.
