Larry A. Mellott, Sr. 68 of Wintersville, OH died Monday, November 3, 2003 at Trinity West, Steubenville. He was born in Steubenville on September 2, 1935 the son of the late Marion and Dorothy Martin Mellott. He had attended First Christian Church, Steubenville. He was a member of Steubenville Masonic Lodge # 45 and Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville. He was retired from Weirton Local # 1 Bricklayers Union and had served in the Ohio National Guard. He was preceded in death by a son Marion Mellott. He is survived by sons Larry A. (Debra) Mellott, Jr. of Crestview, FL and James Mellott of Steubenville, daughters Joyce “Joy” (Harry) Fritz of Tampa, FL and Tammy (Jim) Kaim of Crestview, FL, sisters Eloise (Danny) Pompa, Carol (Don) Castner, Dorothy “Dottie” (Jack) Jenkins, all of Wintersville, Deborah (Tom) Gill of Livermore, CA, three grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 10a.m. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
