I am saddened to hear of Kim's passing. I remember Kim and Dave visiting Gary and me in Hebron, Ohio and how much we enjoyed each other's company. I'll always be grateful to Kim for organizing and handling the funeral repast for my late husband, Gary. I don't know what I would've done without her. My condolences to Dave, Brianne, Heather and Kim's family. May she rest in peace.

My Mom wasn't the average mom. Her and & Dad were an eccentric mix. I was raised on Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, and a musical taste for literally everything except country. My mom always encouraged my artistic side and wether it was drawing, ceramics made in school, the giant dragon on my bedroom wall. While she was in nursing school we would do our homework and flash cards together. I read her medical books for fun with her and even after she became an RN. She injured her back because she always put her patients first and thus began her nightmare. I watched her fight through it as she had to step away from surgical nursing and go into agency nursing, and then finally at the end ofnher career, nursing homes until she absolutely couldn't do it anymore. A simple disk removal and fusion of 2 vertebrae could have fixed this and her insurance, when she had it never covered it. She still fought through it for her patients since I was around 7 or 8 until I had to come home in late 2007 or 2008 when she had multiple heart attacks and I came dropped out of college to come home to take care of her. She couldn't go back to work but still found absolute joy in Karaoke nights. We often went out together and she went to her friends and family's houses, (and not all family is by blood in our home,) until she absolutely couldn't anymore. When she knew her career was over she tried her best to live her life to the fullest, because she knew she didn't have forever to do it physically. The last Karaoke night from my recollection was when I was still working at Froelichs and I sang with her for the last time because I knew she needed it. She fought til her last breath while she suffered to be there for me, my Dad, & sister Heather. Now she is with The Great Mother and our Holy Father. This is not the end of her story, it is the beginning of a new chapter, a new adventure, free from her suffering, and she will always be with us,
