Ken was a dear friend. Good friends are like rare jewels of life - difficult to find and impossible to replace. When I count my blessings, my friendship with Ken tops the list. When the Lord calls our loved ones home he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. I remember Ken as being an Ambassador for Christ...He Loved God, His Family, and God's People. He was a great example of how Christian Men should conduct themselves. For me, it was a true honor to serve with him on the board of Elders (PCA). I will always admire his wisdom and gentle Christ-like spirit. To Jane and the family, take comfort in knowing you are not walking this journey alone. With deep sympathy from your friends (Mike and Kitty). You're in our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers. Yours In Christ, Mike Kotora

I am shocked and so saddened to hear of Ken's passing, and offer my deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and all who knew Ken. When growing up, Ken was basically my "big brother" that I never had, always having spare time to play ball, cards, whatever we could do in Rogersville. He definitely was a role model to any one who saw or knew him. It's great to hear how he contributed so much in a selfless manner to his community, just as our Lord asks us to do. I was so proud to call "Kenny" my best friend growing up, and hope just a little of him rubbed off on me. Now in his passing, I say a little prayer that all of us may follow his shining example of what God wants from us. May God bless him and his family in this time of grief and may we all not to soon forget Kenny and his legacy of leadership, caring, and kindness.

I had the privilege to attend a worship service led by Ken this year at summer camp. His daughter "Cat" was also there. The Lord had led him to teach in Job. Just by "chance" I had been studying Job. He spoke about the wonder and splendor of God's creation. Now he is experiencing that in heaven. My prayer is for God to comfort his family at this time. thanks Ken, Joe Ryan, Scoutmaster Troop 57, Colliers, WV

Doris, Jane and family, We were so shocked to read about Ken. During the early years we spent with him(especially during softball season) he was such a great person...always willing to help in any way. Lori and Lee loved him because he would play with them. He was like a younger brother. Unfortunately we allowed time to separate us. He became a very giving, loving man. We are so sad for your loss of son, husband, and father. Please accept our sympathy. With love.
