Keith Hazlett, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
He was born July 30, 1955 in Steubenville a son of the late Kenneth and Leota Gallaher Hazlett. Keith was also preceded in death by his brother Charles.
Keith retired from RG Steel (formerly Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel) Mountain State Carbon Coke Plant. He was a very active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where he served as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, altar server, CCD teacher, RCIA Director, usher, funeral luncheon committee, pots and pans choir, Men’s Club secretary, St. Francis Society secretary/treasurer. Keith also held membership in Knights of Columbus Council 3621 Mingo Junction and Serra Club. He was a 1973 graduate of Catholic Central.
Friends may call at Blessed Sacrament Church, 852 Main Street, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday, August 19, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Gossett officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Please no flowers. Memorials may be directed to Blessed Sacrament Church in his honor.

Keith was the first one a few years back, to make sure Father was aware that we needed low gluten hosts when I would come to Mass. It was such a kind and invaluable thing to do, He had a loving servants heart. May the angels quickly fly him to paradise.

Keith was a wonderful person of Strong Faith and Fauthful to the Max. He was there to assure me that I would receive the Eucharist at each Mass. I thank him sincerely and Fr. Michael for their constant support in their duties to serve . May he rest in the Peace of Christ's Love forever in Eternity. Farewell, my Good Friend. 🙏💒😢😇
